A single-phase smart electricity meter with an integrated GSM/GPRS communications module, designed for utilities and metering operators that need wireless remote reading without a separate modem or data concentrator. The bottom section houses the meter with an LCD display for imported kWh, while the top section contains the cellular module that pushes consumption data to the billing system over the mobile network.
